About me
With 20+ years of experience in the silicon and communications industry, I have built both capability and capacity with a strong focus on delivering results. I am a true innovator with deep industry connections and a passionate linchpin who quickly connects the dots to identify new opportunities.
I excel at taking on brand-new challenges with a fresh perspective. Throughout my career, I have worked at a wide range of leading companies, including Marvell, Qualcomm, Broadcom, AMD, Semtech/Gennum, HP/Agilent/Keysight. My work has spanned diverse fields such as Wi-Fi, wireless communications, RF front-end, optical networking, high-speed SerDes, multicore CPU/GPU architectures, low-power design, and mixed-signal systems.
This is not one year of experience repeated 20+ times. My diverse experience in architect roles has given me valuable insights and the ability to connect seemingly unrelated ideas. Below is a condensed list of the value I bring to the industry:
- My M-shaped expertise, combined with a continuous learning and growth mindset, makes me highly effective in architect roles.
- My analog, mixed-signal, RF, and mmWave experience covers frequencies ranging from DC to 120 GHz.
- My architect-role experience spans from silicon backend operations all the way to system-level - frontend concept design.
- My data analysis skills and experience drive data-informed decision-making.
- I think outside the box and challenge conventional assumptions.
I graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University and pursued postgraduate studies at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
